Scaled Quail at Martin Ranch, Texas
Took a photo safari workshop with Ruth Hoyt. Sat in a blind all morning, then again all afternoon, waiting for birds to come feed at the water hole. A covey of Scaled Quail advanced on the scene, giving some excellent photo opps. Here's one of many.
