Least Grebe at Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival

November 14, 2009 | 1
Least Grebe is a speciality species in the Rio Grande Valley. Though our guides said this bird is normally quiet and shy, this particular bird seemed curious about us tall creatures in beige, so floated back and forth in front of our large group of tall, khaki-clad creatures. This species ranges from southern Texas through Argentina.
