Presentation on Mobile Apps at Rochester Birding Association

March 31, 2010 | 1

It’s official. I’m presenting a talk on digital revolution of birding/mobile birding apps at next week’s Rochester Birding Association monthly meeting on April 8 at 7:30 pm (Brighton Town Hall, 2300 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY).

My talk expands on articles on mobile apps that I’ve recently written for Birder’s World, Birding, and iPhone Life. I will give an overview of apps currently on the market and discuss how mobile technology and social media has allowed me to be more plugged into birds and the birders who see them.

I will also pass out copies of the latest issue of Birding, the Oct. issue of Birder’s World with my iPhone article, and give away free redeem codes for a few apps.

If you’re in Rochester I would love to meet you there. Bring your iPhone if you have one!
